Ingredients

- Yeast - Water - Milk - Butter - Egg - Honey or sugar - Salt - All-purpose flour - Oil or cooking spray - Melted butter

Stir yeast into warm water and let proof to make sure it is alive.

Warm up milk, butter, honey, and salt. Start mixing together yeast mixture, flour, and an egg.

Keep adding flour and kneading until a smooth and elastic dough forms.

Cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled in size.

Roll dough into small balls, placing 3 balls into each muffin tin cavity.

Cover and let rise again.

Bake until golden brown. Brush with melted butter if desired.

Tip

These reheat really well in the oven so you can make them the day before then reheat when ready to serve to save time on holidays, etc.
