Make  Queso Without Velveeta

HOW TO MAKE

INGREDIENTS

Milk, cream, or half & half Chili powder Garlic powder Onion powder Ground cayenne Rotel (diced tomatoes + chiles) American cheese Salt

STEP 1

STEP 1

Pour milk, cream, or half & half into a saucepan and heat over low heat.

STEP 2

STEP 2

Stir in the chili, garlic, and onion powders and cayenne.

STEP 3

STEP 3

Drain Rotel and stir into the queso.

STEP 4

STEP 4

Slowly stir in cheese in batches and allow to melt slowly.

STEP 5

STEP 5

Keep heating until all of the cheese is melted and the queso is smooth.
