Crisp and Chewy  Ginger Cookies

HOW TO MAKE

Featuring a spiced molasses flavor and crisp edges with a chewy center, these ginger cookies are the very best. They're super easy to make since they don't need refrigeration time nor rolling out.

INGREDIENTS

Butter Granulated sugar Flour Baking soda Salt Cinnamon Ginger Cloves Black pepper Egg Molasses Vanilla

STEP 1

Cream the sugar and butter together.

STEP 2

Whisk the dry ingredients together in a separate bowl.

STEP 3

Mix in egg, then half of the flour, molasses, and vanilla.

STEP 4

Mix in the remaining dry ingredients.

STEP 5

Whisk together sugar and cinnamon.

STEP 6

Scoop dough into balls.

STEP 7

Then roll in cinnamon sugar mix.

STEP 8

Place on baking sheet. No need to press them down.

STEP 9

Bake until crisp on the edges and chewy in the center. Cool on baking sheet.
