Baked Acorn Squash

HOW TO MAKE

INGREDIENTS

Acorn squash Butter Brown sugar Optional: cinnamon, nutmeg, and/or black pepper

STEP 1

Preheat oven, prepare baking pan, and slice squash in half.

STEP 2

Scoop out all of the seeds and excess fibers.

STEP 3

Place acorn squash cut side down on prepared baking sheet and bake 20 minutes.

STEP 4

Flip acorn squash and put the sugar, butter, salt, and seasonings in the cavity.

STEP 5

Bake until squash is fork tender.
