Chicken Parmesan Meatballs

Ingredients

- Ground chicken - Bread crumbs - Parmesan cheese - Egg - Parsley or basil - Garlic - Onion - Salt & pepper - Oil - Marinara or pasta sauce - Mozzarella

Christmas Appetizer

These meatballs are perfect to serve at a Christmas party with their festive green, red, and white colors. They can easily be kept warm in a slow cooker.

Mix chicken, bread crumbs, parm, egg, herbs, garlic, onion, and salt and pepper together in a medium bowl.

Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Shape meat mixture into meatballs. Brown on all sides.

Move meatballs to an oven-safe dish if needed. Top with sauce.

Top with cheese and bake until sauce is bubbling, cheese is melted, and meatballs are cooked through.

Place on serving platter. Top with additional herbs if desired.

Tip

Cook a small ball of the meatball mixture before forming the meatballs to make sure the seasoning is to your liking.
