Grilled Pineapple

Ingredients

- Pineapple - Brown Sugar - Cinnamon  - Salt

Blot pineapple with a towel to dry.

Put brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt into a plastic baggie or container with lid. Mix together thoroughly, breaking up any clumps.

Add pineapple to the container, seal it, and shake so the sugar mixture thoroughly coats the pineapple.

Let the pineapple marinate for at least 30 minutes or up to a few hours, giving the container a shake now and then.

When ready to cook, preheat your grill to medium and lightly oil grates. Grill each side of the pineapple a couple of minutes until lightly caramelized, turning frequently.

Tip

This is a great light dessert on its own but to make it more decadent - serve with a slice of pound cake, vanilla ice cream, and a drizzle of caramel sauce!
