I’m a heavy user of memory cards for a variety of reasons, and SanDisk is my favorite brand to use. Yes, I will admit I have strayed sometimes for what seems like a slightly better deal that ends up going bad. SanDisk has simply stood the test of time and quality for me while others break and fail. That’s why I’m sharing these 4 reasons why you should have SanDisk memory cards on your back to school list. They’re simply a must-have if your kids need extra storage during the school year, or for yourself if taking some classes.

1. You can have more storage on your devices. I take a lot of pictures and video with my phone, so I love the fact that it has a micro SD card slot. If not, I’d probably have to transfer files off my phone daily. If taking a class, I also find it handy to be able to record the teacher or professor so I can go back later and listen again. Having extra storage comes in so handy for this and SanDisk has a variety of memory cards for different devices.

2. You can transfer data between devices easily. If I take a picture on my camera or phone, I usually like to transfer it to my computer for editing or as a backup. SanDisk SD cards make this SO easy and I find them to be of a wonderful quality to use between devices. Some other brands I have used have broken after just a few uses.

3. You can transfer data faster than compared to many other cards. With some SanDisk memory cards being 10X faster than ordinary cards; transfer speeds of up to 60MB/s for smartphones, tablets, and action cameras; and 80MB/s for DSLR cameras and camcorders, you don’t have to worry about having to sit around waiting at the computer on those super busy school days.

4. You know you’re getting a product with security, capacity, and performance. Like I said, from my own experience, SandDisk memory cards simply are the best. I admire that SanDisk not only creates great products, but also strives to meet security, capacity, performance, and environmental requirements of next generation devices because they know our life stories and memories span generations and that our memory solutions should too.
